Accademia Dorica – Early Music Experience is an event like no other.
Not only are our students taught by world renowned musicians, but they also live one of the most formative experience of their lives. During these ten days a close-knit community of students, teachers and staff comes to life through not only the classes, but also through enriching cultural and recreational activities.
β
My experience with Accademia Dorica could have not been better. Not only I improved as a musician, but it also enriched me as a human being.

Programs
Along with one-on-one performance classes, our students will attend several lectures and workshops. Each day will be filled with many different learning opportunities. Participants will also rehearse and perform major repertoire side by side with their teachers.
We take special pride in our dedication and attention to our students postural health: an in-residence osteopath will provide an assessment for the participants.
During their stay, our students will have the chance to take part in trips and visits to local attractions, including cultural, natural and gastronomic.
Finally, students will become members of Accademia Dorica, a worldwide network of passionate musicians.
Location
Accademia Dorica – Early Music Experience is set in Maiolati Spontini, a place like no other: the birthplace of composer Gaspare Spontini, it’s a medieval borough in the Central Italian Hills, in the Marche Region. It offers unique panoramic views and ideal weather during the summer. The gorgeous park is perfect for a relaxing walk or even for practicing surrounded by nature.
Housing, teaching and performing venues are all located across this tiny village.
Jesi and Ancona are the closest cities, but Maiolati Spontini is only a 30 minute drive from the seaside, the beautiful Riviera del Conero, 2.5 hours from Bologna, 2.5 hours from Florence and 3 hours from Rome.
